Are you wanted? Want the cheapest fix?

Have you been caught doing something you weren't supposed to do (in the game, this won't work in real life :p.) Are you now wanted? Are the people you are wanted by hindering you from your present base station?

If you haven't thought of this, try this:
Go to the station you are wanted by
Most stations will have sidewinders, buy it.
Leave the station, and sit at the entrance waiting for the security to scan you. You will be destroyed.
You will now be at the ship destroyed window. Uncheck of all weapons and modules.
Total=-32,000(sidewinder cost) -fine amount -800(insurance will cost around 800)
This will cost a great deal less than risking your best ship each time you enter/leave, or being paranoid about being scanned so you risk you ship with silent running every time you enter.

Keep your 800Cr sidewinder in the station dock for later times when you get fined for some reason. Future fines will now only cost 800+fine to remove your wanted status (nice and cheap :^)!)

Congratulations, you are now not wanted! You have now prepared yourself for a cheap fix for being wanted in the future (the 800Cr sidewinder you bought back.) Be free to be about your business, commander.

*note: Make sure you are a station that is controlled by the faction you are wanted by.

You see... why not get a Sidewinder at a station, silent run to turn off shields, then ram straight into the station's wall while inside the station?

Profit :D?

For the firework display I think. Well, this is an exploit of the H-Jump timer so what are FD doing about this? They have algorithms to find these also or should do. Yet I'd say they also use it in the office so go figure!

Of course, if you dock in a different jurisdiction first, you don't even have to pay the fine off.

Wrong you are still wanted in the system the fine is for. Once it times out you can pay it off, but you will have a wanted flag in that system if not until you are killed by them or it times out.

I do not get this idea? If you are wanted and have a bounty, it will go dormant if you loose your ship. Get scanned and it reactivates. Or is this something else I am not aware of, as I do not use exploits, nor do I condone them. :)

And I wasn't about to wait 4 days, lol. I'd rather kill myself (I mean in the game :p.)

This is not an exploit (being money smart is not an exploit lol,) and the fine totally went away when the security killed me. Dormant bounties are formed when you are wanted by a party but another party kills you first.

Plan B: IF you are WANTED. Flea the area immediately. Wing up with any players you know well. Go back to a RES and pick on easy targets (even Police) and rack up a huge bounty! Then just get your Wing to destroy you and collect the winnings. They will be your friends forever!

Yeah it's an old trick.
I cannot bring myself to do it though.
It is too much of a gamey gimmick that would destroy my immersion. I never use what I consider to be exploits.
I've got a bounty of 1.4 mil on my head because I killed some minions of Archon Delayne (It should be a Legacy fine now).

That's boring, I buy an Eagle then wait for them to scan me and then run around the station, through the infra structure and see if they can kill me, you can easily go for over 10 minutes, I take more damage from running into the station than from security.

They really need to buff security.

Minor problem is that the huge bounty is added to your re buy.

Not something I would do, i play the game, not the metagame.

However, I can understand some players would prefer to do this.

There was something though about bounties being added to rebuy cost. Was this never implmented, or not implmented correctly?

I like the idea of spamming the area with fleas. Where do you buy them?

Once Plan B is carried out you then resort to Plan A again as OP says.

I tried this. Only i forgot to turn the shields off. After what seemed an age, head butting the station, a nice security man scanned me and put me out of my misery. Lucky reall, I was only tjrough the first ring of shields.
