Aren't start white generally, not yellow?

And shouldn't they be much MUCH brighter? I know there are some dim stars, but our sun only appears yellow because of the atmosphere, but the light it makes is white and all the stars in space (mostly) are white as dots then turn into this big yellow ball when we jump into the system. Can you fix that?

They should also change colour as we go faster in super cruise. But that is being a bit technical, don't you think?

No there is nothing to fix, Fdev have it correct.

Rather than go into a long detailed explanation of colour temperature, composition and mass I will put this here;
