First off let me say that i've backed this game from the beginning.....but this design decision is soooooo stupid, all that time and work to just have to start over blah, blah, blah, blah...I QUIT!!!!!!

Seriously, though. Real stupid moment for myself. Just finished stocking myself full of rares and thought I'd be a badass for a moment and full speed boost out the slot...well, i'm sure you know what happened next. Haha, man I felt dumb, one slight adjustment and I got all out of whack and boom! Oh well, such is life in Elite, luckily I had the insurance. Quit for the night to take a breather. Getting ready to head back in now! God i love this game and everything that comes along with being a CMDR! See you out there!

Ouch.

I did the opposite once. Trying to be all baddass-smugler full boosting into the slot... not sure exactly what went wrong between brain-feet-toes-hands but something didn't add up quite right and I face planted the wall. I play ironman syle so that little stunt cost me about a week of play, but I did score a brand new Sidewinder

Needless to say my baddass-smugler days are now more like tiptoeing in the shadows than full-burn and balls out.

Sorry, man. That does suck. You win some, ya lose some. Sucked too cause this was at the very beginning of my play session so it really deflated me. I had a plan set out on what my session was going to be like and was happy and ready to go, then, it was like, okay, guess it's a different game tonight.

Fantastic you messed up, owned upto it, took a break came back, this is the Right attitude to have when playing ED, seen so many i messed up i quit posts, ^ this is what most of them should be like.
