Hey guys?

Cartoi is,
1) a lost cause, Aisling's folks want it too much and
2) NOT our best option. It's a red herring; not even the most profitable choice! In fact, it's no more than third, maybe fourth or fifth, in our list of prep systems.

Please forget about it. Every bit of prep you spend on Cartoi is wasted. Better ideas:

Lutni is more profitable than Cartoi... and is currently off our list altogether; all our CC is allocated to systems higher on the list than it is. Bump it up enough to put it on the list and you'll replace Dongzi, which will give us a LOSS, with a better system than Cartoi ever could be.

Carverda shows more potential profit than ANY other prep system! Substantially more than Cartoi.

And, finally, Dvorsi has a lower population and a profit potential of only 44cc BUT it also is a high-tech system with a relatively high population as high-tech systems go. It's no Beta-1 Tucanae but it will be the FIRST system we have the chance to get where we can really use our Princess' faction discount on upgrades, which is something we're seriously lacking right now. I would really like to see Dvorsi added to Arissa's control--strengthen yourself and you strengthen your Princess.

2,3 and 4 on the list right now aren't worth that much, and I think number 1 might be a lost cause.

We need to ensure the other 6 systems we actually get for expansion next cycle are better than what they are right now.

Right now 2nd to 7th is worth:
Ugrivirri 36
Dvorsi 44
Kamocan 64
Lakluita 90
Carverda 116
Lutni 102

We need to focus on getting rid of the worthless systems and replacing them with better ones.

My 2 cents, Nauani should be back on the list. It was at number 8 with over 9000 T delivered.
I'm not sure what happens to that once it goes under number 10, but if they are still there it shouldn't be too hard to get back on the list in place of Kamocan.
It's on the way to Fed space, which is where we need to at least expand partially.

Its easier to take systems that are unoccupied, than take them from someone else.

Arissa, paragon of fairness and justice for the Empire, is currently competing for the loyalties of the Kotandji system with Aisling, the naive young princess whose misguided influence is spreading where not confronted with more reasoned and mature ideas.

I haven't figured out this part of the game yet.

But heck! ... she's in my age group and looks pretty fit, besides I have a soft spot for the (Naughty word deleted!) Empress.

Is it me or have they made the names of the Walt's Princess and Arrissa (The one true Empress) too similar?

Are we going to have to assassinate her, and her slave hugging friends to clear up the confusion?

Okay, i checked the map and the systems Lavigny Duval are preparing atm and i don't get the expansion plan: someone explain to me why the Arrisa supporters are trying to expand around Aisling and Torval spaces, toward the green rating stars closest to other empire factions' space, rather than toward the tons of green rated systems over their own space, between them and the federation. You know, the tons of uncontested green 100+cc systems which are not only next to them but totally unprepared. Because i don't really see the point in putting all your effort toward competing with another empire faction's only possible expansion area. It sounds like wasting your time if you ask me.

It's not that they "want it too much" is that it's the only sensible area they can expand toward. Have you checked the map from their point of view? It makes total sense for them to expand there, they don't have a very large selection of areas to expand toward. Unlike the Lavigny-Duval faction. I mean look at the map and check the green rating systems. Where else are they going to expand? And why are the Lavigny-Duval wasting their time in both Cartoi (Aisling's area) and Lakluita (which is behind Torval's space???! What?). I don't get it. Meanwhile you aren't expanding toward greener uncontested 100+cc per system areas like Koshan and Manites.

Frak knows why the heard runs the way it does. But I'm hoping in the future prep system HAVE to be nominated with a vote threshold before they can be prepared. It may be a little easier to steer the migration.

I'm trying to help out. I've been into the cause for less than 12 hours. I have 2o Lavigny Corruption reports but I cant see where to take them. I keep jumping from system to system and docking. No one takes them off me in PowerPlay.

Gonna head back to HQ. Since I got 10 of them from there I doubt thats where I'm suppose to take them...

You need to take the corruption reports to a system that is outside our territory.
They are used to "vote" for the systems that will be added.
At the moment we will expand to 10 systems, so the top 10 with the most corruption reports delivered to them will be selected.
