I know reinforced is better than lightweight.
I know military is better still, it's what I'm running.

I know reflective is better against thermal and reactive against kinetic.

What I don't know is whether reflective being better against thermal is just as good against kinetic as military. And if reactive is just as good against thermal as military.

Ie each being an upgrade in their own field of protection but no better and no worse than military grade against the other type of attack.

I'd hate to spend all that money to find out either is worse than mil spec at the other type of attack type of attack for the same of being better in their own field.

Any ideas?

Most people use thermal weapons on shields and kinetic on hull so my guess would be reactive armor is best.

Dont know each deals with the other kind of weapons but I hope they dont protect well against them. All upgrades are too linear to me as is, the only trade-off is some power.

I have reflective, and it can take an absolute beating from kinetic. Id estimate about 5 or 6 times better than standard light weight for kinetic hits. Thermal hits are almost useless against it..

Did you try military too?

I'm basically after the upgrade to one or another type but don't want to lose out on the other, ie as long as it takes the same as military or better for one type of attack, while being untouchable on the other attack I'll be happy.
