I just wish Frontier had added Odyssey bio-signatures to their marvelous WAVE scanner mechanics.
I want it as a joke-thread, but ... SRV designed for exobiology would be awesome
Can look like this old moon wehicle with no cabin, and you can collec multiple probes at once Done. Make the game easier. Confirmed.check the screenshot, and thread tag please
I find exobiology frustrating sometimes. But I don't want it to be super easy.

Some third party apps like EDMC Bioscan and Elite Dangerous Exploration Buddy (Amazing!) can really help too. Exp. Buddy has a wonderful overlay for exploration and exobiology and you can configure speech to help you. EDHM UI has a plugin that lets you adjust the colour of the DSS scan. It has three modes which can help you locate your specimens faster

The photo is a bit dark and the pointer both oversized and difficult to see, which must have been hard to pull off.
The trouble with tags is almost nobody uses or checks for them.
Let me explain... screenshot shows the Python Mk II, pointed nose down to the biological sample. This ship is sometimes compared to the arrow or spearhead, because looks like that. At the front there is an SRV going to the "arrow". And tags says: "dad joke".
And?
It is amazing how humour fails to make it through to other people when just using a forum especially in an area for serious discussion
