Arsenic - How Do I Find It?

I prefer to figure things out in-game as I go along, but in the case of finding Arsenic I am stumped. Been looking for it for more than a week now. Nothing. Stockpiled a nice reserve of other minerals in the meantime, however.

Checking for bodies with the highest percentage of As, which so far has been no higher than 2 to 2.5%. As is a "kind-of" metal so I'm prioritizing metallic returns on the SRV's wave scanner.

Is there something else to it, or do I just have to keep being patient? Felicity is waiting. :)

It has always been one of those annoying mats. Listed as "Common" (G2) it doesn't feel that way, often seeming rarer than unicorn-droppings. So it is a matter of luck if the RNG turns up any of it. I have to admit to trading to top up the amount I have in stock - using Antimony from the Bug Killer for example.

Best bet for finding a lot relatively easily is to visit geological or biological sites where Arsenic is listed on planet in the System Map. When you find Arsenic in (say) a crystal cluster, start shooting crystal clusters (Certain level materials tend to be inside certain level geological/biological features).

You forgot to say that the trading of our materials increases the amount of ARX we get. If you have a lot of "unbalanced" mats in your ship. You have to be careful that you don't make the 400 ARX too soon when trading them. I don't know how much ordinary trading gives you.
