I'm not sure how many of us here visit that site, but for me since the BBC down-graded it's 'science' reporting, it had become a new and interesting place to visit and catch info from; i linked to it many times in various posts i put here.

Anyway i had noticed that sometime over the 'Black Friday' weekend it had stopped getting new articles posted (the last was from Nov 26th), and curious after a few days i eventually found it's forum and found this post:

So basically the UK site is dead, so you will need to go to the original US version site to carry on getting stuff:

Oh, that's a bit sad. Mind you, it has to be said that I generally went to the US site, so perhaps it's not too surprising.

Was only wondering earlier today why there hadn't been any updates for awhile. A shame but not that surprised to be honest.
