The same guys that planted those false Trilobites, will be out there manufacturing artifacts for sure. It is a conspiracy to trick us into believing in strange and diverse life formation, marveling at the richness of the universe, so we don't find the time to look into the business of those sneaky bureaucrats putting more wheels into the machinery. No expense is spared in the quest to bog down our lives!

The UAs show up as "Amazon Intergalactic Delivery Drones" to my ship computer (which is second-hand and may not be, err, entirely human-made). They are programmed not to open until they reach the delivery address which is why you can't do anything with them. The sound you hear them make is them reporting back for delivery tracking purposes.
I should never have sold that old DVD player to the Thargoids. Still, the invasion is off until they run out of "Friends" episodes.
