Edit: To clarify, this is for the Horizons build, not the Odyssey build.
For some reason, I can't seem to submit an issue to the Issue Tracker? I get "Unfortunately you are not able to submit an issue at this time. You can still browse existing issues or, alternatively, try again at a later date." So here I am posting about my issue instead.
There seems to be a VR artifacting issue when HMD Image Quality is set to non-integer (ie 1.25, 1.5, 0.85, 0.5, etc) values. This is disappointing, since 1.25 seems to be manageable for my computer and improves the quality greatly aside from when in HazRes sites. At 1.00 and 2.00, there seems to be no issue. I hadn't tested this with values at below 1.00, but they concern me less anyway (Update: tested with less than 1.00 values, and they also cause the same issue). What's especially odd about it is that it only seems to happen half-way down the total picture. It's also not a headset problem (which is what I initially expected since artifacting was only occuring for half the screen); I had a friend confirm that they also encounter the problem with their Samsung Odyssey+ Headset on their RTX 2080, whereas I have a Valve Index and an RTX 3090. Does anyone else know about this issue?
I've included some screenshots; you kind of need to zoom in to see what I mean, but it's a lot more noticeable when the asteroids are moving and when in VR.
