ARX and BGS

I have been trying to increase influence in one of our systems and I have done quite a lot of missions during 6 hours of play in this new patch. I have only taken missions with high influence. During this time I have gained 26 ARX. In order to get 400 weekly ARX I would need to grind almost 100 hours. That's 14 hours per day. Is this what is expected as normal game play? BGS player is again drilled in the eye. Same with the missions, high influence missions usually give very little cash. Please

By the way, I did some exploration with secondary account for 2-3 hours and got 68 arx from that. Not in line I would say.

Yeah I noticed the amount you get for running BGS mission is really poor.

I did 6 mission and got 1
I did another 8 and got 2

Not good really, the only saving grace is our faction is at war so I earned some in some CZs

When we arnt at war, running the missions isn't going earn me much.

I'm hoping fdev change the ARX rates on missions a little

I have been doing source and delivery missions, plus some combat bonds in CZs (no mission) - collected 186 ARX now.

Anyone knows when is the weekly tick?

Btw, anyone noticed combat bonds are counted as bounties in Transactions and can't choose a side if CZ is too close to planet. I jumped into one CZs with ships fighting each others but couldn't choose a faction to fight war.

Mix up the missions with trade, passengers, bounties, exploration data, USS, etc. It will get you more Influence in the time taken... and possibly earn you more Arx if that's what you're after.

It’s something that gradually accumulates over time, as an alternative to buying them.

I don’t understand why anyone is surprised it works this way.

Just bopping around doing some engineering and a couple of missions on one of my accounts first time played since the update - reached the weekly cap early this evening from 0 this afternoon, must have been four or five hours play (stopped for dinner in between). So it seems certain things accrue more than others, maybe someone is keeping track of what does what.

you get more for killing, again another indicator for why our ships have weapons.
I also work the BGS, took me an hour to get 772 arx
seems like the arx is reasonably aligned with the more powerful the bgs tool you use, the more arx you earn.

How is that even possible when the weekly cap is 400?

Perhaps the same as when I completed a session which earned 176 (it showed what I had earned) but the "My ARX" only went up to 399 (I had an Arx balance before and I had bought the tharg bobble) and underneath the notification was a message in flashing green text saying that the weekly limit had been reached. Later session produced no message if I remember correctly.

45 ARX earned. This is from a 45 minute game session.

37 ARX earned trading; only trade I did was with a Mat Trader swapping abundant grade 5 materials for 6 Pharm Iso, 6 Military Superconductors and a whole bunch of Imp Comps
6 ARX for completing a low CZ (250k bounty)
2 ARX for complete scan of a low value system system (Red Dwarf no metals)

Earning ARX seems weighted, some activities earn more than others.

Obviously as I gather more data from transactions I'll be able to get more accurate breakdown of what earns what.

Right a bit more scientific...

35 ARX earned from trade, I traded for 4x each of the following... Pharmaceutical Isolators, Military Superconductors, Improvised Components.
6 ARX earned for Combat Low CZ 95k in bonds
2 ARX earned for other.

It seems that trading at a material trader is the way to go to maximise your ARX earnings.
