General ARX DLC/content

Gotta see it this way: Cash is valuable. If you throw away your cash you devalue your cash AND mine and my dog's cash.
So you don't throw away cash.
The business has then to consider how to convince you to dispense da money. They gotta offer something compelling. And the creative ideas fly. And they create something interesting maybe.
You throw away the cash you don't get anything interesting.

You will be treated like trash if you throw away your cash.

Apparently people are paying upwards of $300 for The Day Before Steam keys. Gamers have lost their minds.
I never heard about that game until now, and after reading a bit about the reception, to me, it stands as a prime example of why Star Citizen will never be released early access on Steam, or on Steam at all. It's the first time I've seen an "Overwhelmingly Negative" rating on there, But why are people paying $300 for a key?

I'm pretty sure that in game currency is a legal requirement to avoid getting caught up in some serious financial issues with money laundering etc.., and if a game company wants to reward players for playing the game. It's like tokens at a theme park.

But why are people paying $300 for a key?

The game was delisted from Steam, but the servers are still up - who knows for how long, but i would assume not too long.
Anyway, is not as much as people flocking to pay $300 for a key, but 3rd party site asking $300 for a key (not sure if they're actually selling them) - steam charts are listing 67 concurrent players at the time of this post 🤷‍♂️
