As one of the un-pledged...

What happens when I head in to a Violent Protest and support the System Defense against the Power faction? Does this add to the undermine value? Of course, I can't see my progress without joining (I think, I could be wrong).

Basically, I've showed up to the bounty community goal, only to find bounty targets are slim in that system. Got bored and headed into a violent protest but was unsure if my efforts against Antal would help in preventing his control of the system. Will I get combat bonds from the local faction for helping overthrow the aggressors?

Combat Bonds are only in CZ by picking a side. That's how you get paid. If not Pledged you will never see "HOSTILE" targets.

Yeah, but when I enter the violent protest, I see there is the option to pick a faction just like a CZ...I guess this is what is confusing me about it. All targets in the instance, including CMDRs are listed as LAWLESS

The way to act against the PP faction is to support the minor faction who is least suited to their governance type. If the system controlling minor faction is, say 'Feudal' and the PP faction likes 'Corporate', then the system will cost more to upkeep. And vice-versa.

Congratulations! You took a glimpse of our PP Expansion technique! Though it's a bug that VP are still there, since Expansion has failed. Doing combat in those zones won't do you nothing except maybe take your time and harm your credits.

Thank you, that's how you undermine being non-pledged?))) Sort of Power griefing?)
