Not a bad selection, but would definitely put a Gibbon species (prefer White Buff-Cheecked Gibbon) in spot for the Langour Monkey which in itself is a cool monkey. Gibbons are more fun to watch and the songs they make alone make it a unique gem to have in any zoo.

Don't start a tread like this - It has a similar vibe as : Don't comment if you disagree.

I like the suggestions:

Indian Leopard - clouded leopard / amur leopard has been suggested too. Will be an interesting discussion if/when they address Asia
Monocled Cobra: Exhibit - Good suggestion - the spectacled cobra would also work for me but Monocled is a good one.
Binturong - Very popular and mentioned on a lot of wishlists for Asia. Also one of my preferred animals for Asia.
Langour Monkey - my personal preference would be the Siamang but again a good suggestion. i think the Douc Langur was a popular suggestion too.
Axis Deer - When it comes to deer with commercial appeal I think this one rates pretty high. Love to see this one.

Oh I agree with that one. Same goes with canines - i think we have a great selection of big cats.
But with Asia we got a selection of few leopards - chances are high that an Asian pack would include one

Babirusa not mentioned that often but I think that would be a good pick as well. I wouldn't mind the Water Buffalo or Yak either

In terms of pigs I'd really like the Visayan warty pig. There seems to be a new effort to conserve the Visayan pig and the Visayan spotted deer as well nowadays.

Asian Pack - hmm It’s so hard for me to pick since there are so many regions and biomes on this continent. I really do think that Asian continent is the most diverse. You can find there almost all biomes that exist.

We already have some parts of it nicely covered but there are still some with a huge lack of iconic species.
Regions well covered in my opinion are: India, China/Russia/Japan.

I hope that with Asia they will divide it to more than just one pack or create one that is bigger.

For me it would be great if they would go with:

North Asia / Tibetan /Mongolian pack
Przewalski horse
Amur leopard
Takin
Pere david deer
Exibit animal: cobra

South East Asia
Gibbon of any kind
Malayan tapir
Binturong
Babirusa
Exibit animal: borneo earless monitor

I agree but personally and I’ll be honest I just want the leopard it‘s basically the African Leopard but on a different continent the Maryland Zoo had one that died I did research on that, and the safari at myrtle beach where I went, has African Leopards it was a great safari they treat their animals like family

The Myrtle Beach Safari is one of those places that lets people cuddle baby lions and tigers, and deliberately breeds white tigers for the aesthetic, just to provide some context. Not an upstanding zoological institution by any measure.

With the recent trailer release of PK I prefer not to speculate on PZ dlc. I think PK has upped the stakes a little bit in terms of what the PZ community has been asking for and now I think I’m just going to sit back and see how frontier responds in future dlc packs. By no means am I trying to put down PZ or frontier as I think this game has been amazing and I know PZ is its own game but it is impressive what a much smaller team has been able to accomplish.

Well, NZFanatic didn't proposedly said one didn't like your idea.
So, what could be in the Asian Pack, if it's divided?
For Northeast;
as someone said, raccoon dog would be great.
Adding to that, I suggest long-tailed goral(Amur goral), an endangered highland bovine which are present in various zoos worldwide.
For exhibit animal, what about Chinese pond turtle? It's time for some variation in exhibit, too.
Golden snub-nosed monkey would be good, too. We are in need of some monkey.
Pere David's deer is good, but I prefer Przewalski horse.

For Southeast;
If I get to choose any Southeastern Asian primate, I'd go gibbon. Especially White-handed gibbon.
Binturong sounds good, it adds some variety to the carnivora pool.
Babirusa, we need more pigs.
For exhibit, I suggest Tokay gecko.
Aaand, clouded leopard.

A bit critical on this comment. How does features from that game, raise the "demands" for some people in this game?
Isn't that being a bit unreasonable?
Don't expect any response in DLC on that part from Frontier.
PK will be released as EA next year (rumours - only for backers at first). I'm positive about this game but it could take 1-4 years to get a complete game.
And we don't know how this game will be released (bugs/flaws/which features are not added yet)

In terms of pigs I'd really like the Visayan warty pig

Would work for me too. If they would add a pig, at least make it stand out.

I think the choice for leopard will somewhat depend on what comes first: Africa DLC or Asia DLC
Adding a leopard in both packs would be bad idea (imo), I'm not picky on that part and think that we have a good selection of big cats.
But the leopard is highly requested, so I think it would be good idea to add a insert name leopard.

@NL_Mutso theres no raised demands from this community but the requests have existed from the release of the game. Flying aviary content and aquatic creatures. Frontier has the talent to implement these features and hopefully the engine limitations also as once PK is released and they do eventually get a aquatic dlc the requests for such things will become more numerous. I recently watched a YouTube video of Sdanwolf and he read some comments from the community and one of the members said frontier knows the demand for aquatic dlc and some new game features and said come on frontier don’t frontier this. Now I know this comes off as harsh but even the person saying it said it’s not intended to be harsh at all. But more of a motivator to finally get these features in game. It’s frontiers game and I respect that and will continue to support PZ regardless but it would be a shame to exclude these two features from such a realistic game. What I meant by the comments too was they’d probably continue with continental dlc for awhile but after that it’s anyone’s guess where they go from there. Also I’m sure PK will have some problems such as bugs and delays being a small studio also comes into play but you can just tell these guys are out to make a name for themselves which I’m sure they will once PK is finished and have done some amazing things already. In no way tho am I saying one game will be better than the other.

Ok, that other thread about PK does give that vibe. It's strange to announce features from a game on a forum of another game.

With the amount of aviary/marine threads it's pretty obvious - we all know they use this forum/steam/other resources.
After the last big JWe update in december, i think hopes for aviaries increased a lot.

Ok. got it.. Personally think it's would be most fair thing to do - if you go continent based, at least give a shot to all continents. And with most discussions on this forum - it's just a guess (imo part of the fun)
