21 seconds to scoop to a full tank after an 18.6 ly jump.
That's in an Asp with an A3 scoop.

Couple more tests on the way back to Lave.
I'm keeping the rate at as close to 150/s as I can. Heat gets to 103% max usually by the time I'm done. Zero damage.

That's about 0.78ly of fuel scooped in 1 second.
I'd say that was pretty fast and wouldn't hold up anyone. And the cost offset is more than worth it for me.

ammo costs way more than scooping for me, when exploring I was greedy and used a class 6 scoop instead of a cargo rack lol, I found the better powerplants on the asp allow you to just sit at full scoop capacity with 80% heat anyway it was pretty simple but still too involved to stop me buying from station!
