Asp outfitting issue

This is a default purchase - want to upgrade thrusters and get this message on all options:

What is going on? What am I missing? Why will all the possible options exceed maximum mass?

You need to find a station that stocks better kit.

Well, basically you are trying to fit the engine of a small car to a truck. The thrusters that station is offering are way to small for the asp. What you are looking for, are class 5 thrusters, not 2 or 3
