From the patch notes:

Asp Scout has a new size 2 slot and a size 5 slot replacing one of it's size 4 ones



DBX gets a buff too

DBX now has an extra size 2 slot and is a bit lighter

That's a big upgrade on the Asp Scout. Still not sure what it's "for" now.

DBX is a very solid explorer now, and maybe there's a good combat build in there somewhere.
