Any news on forthcoming changes?

Anybody tried engineering it to see if it can be made into a fighter?

I strip-mined my Viper IV for parts and gave it a try. It was not bad. The PD is good sized, and it can handle high drain weapons. Maneuverability is good. Shields are weak, even at size 5, but it can hull tank pretty good. I face tanked an Anaconda, and came out at 93% hull.

It can run 2 PA's and a pair of pulses easily. Took Focused PA's for the shot speed, and Rapid Fire on the pulses.

The Asp Scout can be quite good when outfitted properly, but I think the issue is that it's something of an uphill battle, and there are better choices for just about anything it would be used for.

I don't think it needs too much, but it does seem to need something.
