ASP - the new black vs the old black

I have the old black and couldn't actually tell the slightly worn and chipped bits of the paint job.

Its definitely closer to a true black than the new charcoal. And "charcoal" means something different to every car manufacturer anyways.


The new paint sure looks like a brand new, shiny, metallic black

The one on the left looks like black paint. The one on the right looks like a stealth fighter.

 

[Asp Explorer]

They both look lovely! To me, the Asp was the most iconic ship of Elite. Nothing else looked like it was going to ruin your day quite like that little collection of vertices did. Sidewinders? Pah! Cobra Mk III? Boring! Fer-de-Lance? LOL! I love my bright purple Asp
