asp v fer de lance

Greetings..

just wondering; as at some point I will try out deep space exploring, so I was reading the wiki for ships.

I remember these buggers and what a pain they where, but nice looking ships.

while im grinding to upgraded my cobra, I got my eye on this ship.

and reading some posts about the asp, this will be a nice interest ship.

I'm a new player and still getting my head around things.

As its a Zorgon Peterson ship, the Fer de Lance will have the pilot seat on the correct side of the cockpit - lame i know:) I'll be grabbing one as soon as its released:)

On a more serious note, very little information has been released about the Fer de Lance, so it would be hard to compare properly at the moment.

The Fer de Lance was the ship of the flashy, rich playboy bounty hunter so I'm thinking it will be more an upgrade to the Viper, not as manoeuvrable, but armed to the teeth and with all the best gadgets.
.
I'm thinking it might not be best suited as an explorer. I'd go with the Asp if it was one or the other.

I really hope the Fer De Lance has a centered pilot seat. I can't stand those two-seaters, I feel like I'm driving a family car. It's more tolerable if I can sit on the left seat, but still.

What bugs me with the 2 seaters is that even though I appear to be off to the side, the ship still rolls right through the centre of my seat. It would add much more to the character of flying these ships if they rolled through the middle of the ship, so there was some difference to it other than just the look of the cockpit.

It does, you're just not paying close enough attention.

Why can't we choose between left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive models of the same ship, just like we can with many UK/European cars today?
