I'm so happy I could kiss my ASP. After eight months of testing (playing) ED I finally bought an ASP and let me tell you it is a beautiful creature. I suppose I could have grinded my way to an ASP weeks and weeks ago but, I chose to be a bounty Hunter and while fun it's not the most lucrative profession in the game. My choice so, no crying, I haven't regretted it.
However, tonight I finally had the credits to buy one. I know I'm late to the party but, I don't mind. I'm in no hurry and I've had a blast (literally). Anyway, I got one and it's very very cool, especially in a DK2.
I took a huge risk, I only have the base model (no upgrades) and just enough to cover insurance but, I'm hoping this will open up more avenues in ED for me. Most notably, changing from a bounty hunter (for now) to a freelance profiteer. I was going to go drive the French out of a system they have claimed (not racism, just good clean fun with territory) but, I couldn't resist the ASP any longer. Looks like I'll be trading and smuggling for a bit before I get my ASP in gear and fitted properly.
