Maybe you should watch some videos regarding the procedure of landing on high G planets.
Definitly look up guides before landing on high g planets, its a whole new, and fun, experience but you could quite easily lose your ship.
Don't do what i did and think it'll be easy and attempt to land on a 9g planet without experience, i just about survived in my dbx but got draged across the planetary surface a long way, with 4 pips on shields i came to a stop with 15% hull hp left. I too used un engineered thrusters so it can be done. I went with a buddy in an aspx, he must of accidentally boosted or came to orbit down too quick and he didn't make it

AspX feels like home when exploring. Add a mining laser to refill mats. But don´t fly in open.
