Never played that one, but you could be right, it was a very strange event :D

I believe I am right. The weapons of FFXV have a very particular art style, and I distinctly remember that shield from the weapon vendor's van.

I guess it is a thing. Apparently they introduced a new quest that yielded FF crossover items upon completion a couple weeks ago.

I also just found out that there was an Assassin's Creed event in FFXV some weeks ago.

Not going to lie. I'm not okay with it.

I went and bought myself a Samsung SSD last week and it turns out that you gets a free digital copy of Assassin's Creed Origins by redemption code.
I've not installed it yet because I'll be fitting the SSD tomorrow, and I've got a backlog of games bought during the Christmas Sale on Steam this year.
I will be going into this game almost totally blind. I know the series has been running for a number of years, and I thought the movie this year was "alright", but apart from that I know nothing about the series.

neither did I, you will be just fine, one thing you need to know, you're not there, not really, you are linked by neurons in a machine to your character in the game, so the popping in and out can be weird in the beginning.

My mate sent me this pic...no words

So I completed the main story, it was good and with a twist. My only complain would be that I’m not really becoming the
Main character, just a Spectator during the game. Somehow they do it better in TW3.

I still need to do a lot of side quests.

I feel about the same since reaching level 40 and completing the main quest line....still not feeling all Bayek of Siwa in the slightest.

It's a shame really, the game world is so detailed and immersive, but something is missing, I can't put my finger on it yet.

This game is sucking my life away. I’m totally enjoying it. The world is amazing and extremely fun. I prefer a single sword and shield fighting style, having tried most ways of fighting. I even prefer it over the bow. Taking on a camp with stealth and a sword rocks. I also really like the revenge missions. I always do them when they pop up.

Right now, it is my favorite game to play. I get so distracted doing stupid stuff, I sometimes forget to advance the story.

New DLC is out, looks really nice and I'm already ready for a new story :D
