For those of you who doesn't know: "Assassinate Terrorist Leader" is a wing mission that ask you to kill, well, a terrorist leader. It works like usual assassination mission (special USS and all that), but it pays more (up to 3.5M), the said leader flies an engineered Big 3 and is surrounded by some escorts (FDL, Vulture, Viper and so on).
This is EXACTLY what we PVEers asked you for!
First of all, this is not a "wing mission". It is a solo mission aimed at those of us who own and fly and brags about over-engineered Condas, Vettes and Cutters. It still offers absolutely zero challenge for wings - but that's okay. No one is going to hunt for USS in a wing anyway.
Second, patch 3.0.2 introduced engineered enemies for these missions. You may encounter an SCB-eating Cutter with fat shields, or a Vette with phasing sequence weapons, or something else. This is going to be a real test of your PVE build, and this is FUN! Most importantly, these are completely optional - also something we've been asking you for. No need to introduce these as ordinary pirates. If we want a boss fight, we now know where to find it.
Third, despite all the 3.0.2 goodness, terrorists are still kinda dumb. How about reintroducing some 2.1 AI tweaks, exclusively for these missions?
Anyway, thank you again! Definitely one of the best 3.0 features.
