So, yeah.
Took an assassination mission (the mission type that pays out like 160k, and has the crosshairs symbol). One target, three possible systems he might be in.
Jumped to one system, dove into USS, met a trader who told me in which system target is in.
Jumped to that system, dove into USS-es, found the target (anarchy system, target member of system's main faction, independent, flying an orca). Scanned with KWS just in case.
So, I shot at target's powerplant. Target exploded at like 30% hull (I guess powerplant went critical). I didn't get any update to the mission, the kill didn't seem to register.
Alright, flew around a while more, found the target again in another USS (same ship, same skill level, all the same). Killed the target the "normal way", by taking hull down to 0%. Target explodes, and again the mission doesn't update.
Aaaargh.
So, yeah. I posted a bug report, but I was also wondering if any of you has also had this kind of behaviour? Should I keep chasing these targets, or just abandon the mission?
