Ok so I've tried looking this up with no luck. All I found was a page saying to wait for two dinos to get into a fight, and then assist one to victory. This doesn't help me, what do I have to do? I can't take control of any dinos. Do I need to tranq one? That seems kinda cheap. Just want to know exactly what I need to do, thanks.

Pick an opponent that it should be able to beat, and use the healer of it gets injured.
What do you mean? I can't control the dinos so if two get into a fight how does the game know which one I was rooting for?
Your ranger jeep is able to heal dinosaurs - either dart manually or as a task you set them - so you can help that way, by keeping your assisted dino's health up.
And/or you can populate the enclosure with animals that fight back but are weaker.
