Asteroid Base features

Just waiting for my base to complete and then thought, do Asteroid bases have ship purchase facilities and fitting out?

It will be a real pain if they don't and I am not sure how you find this info out in game?

Yes, they have shipyard and outfitting.

(This might also be somewhere in the Codex for an in-game source, I can't remember)

Many thanks, it could be a bit better explained in game, I still don't know what level I am over 35?
