Newcomer / Intro Asteroid belt in Frigaha

I have travalled to Frigaha to do a bit of mining but when I arrive at the system the asteroid belt is not showing as a selectable location on my ship's panel. Why is this?

Is the system Unknown to you? Have you tried a discovery scan?

Ah, I have sold my discovery scanner in order to fit my refinery. :s
