Asteroid Belts

What use do these have? Ok i know that miners might use them, but beside that. I jump into an unexplored system to find many asteroid belts. Why cant they be already explored? or my advanced discovery scanner explore them all, considering they have 0 value exploration / discovery wise, I think FD are just preying on us poor people that have OCD. Must .....scan ....everything

No value in exploring them, just miss them out unless as you say you have OCD.

What bothers me, is they are named already and not titled unexplored, kinda gives the game away really.
