Asteroid field, orbiting the sun. First facility: Okay. Next facilities... its a gamble.
As many have found the facility location at asteroid fields near the sun is messed up. You facility doesn't go where you specify. And it appears to add extra slots to you system.
There are lots of various forum posts about this.
When you go to build your subsequent facilities orbiting your sun, everything may seem okay. Maybe.
When completed it might look really cool if you like to see stations mashed together. But after the first 10 minutes the cool factor drains away and you realize you just might have built a useless station that you maybe can't even dock at.
Obviously Frontier knows about this issue. It is a pretty big and obvious issue. There is no way they can't know. So submitting a report in the Issue Tracker is a waste of time.
Obviously this is a Beta period. Hopefully Frontier will have a fix soon. Just be aware, this ain't quite right.
