ASTEROID FIELDS?!?

I agree. Don't really care what the value is. It could be 10CR. Zero just seems... odd. It's still data they didn't have before.

Yeah it's silly, you only get 500 credits for a moon right now I believe. Hopefully that's changing when we're able to land on them in Horizons, and the belt clusters actually earn you credits too.

True, considering for how long this has been this way....

After all, a Pristine Metallic Asteroid Belt Cluster sure is more useful/valuable than Icy Moon #9 around a Class 1 Gas Giant?
And they're not all the same size, some are very large - thus their value can be variable just as well.

IMHO they could even show the 1st Discovered, it's being correctly tracked per Cluster ever since. And displaying multiple CMDR Names (at least the Top 4) would be possible, see Wing Exploration and their display of 1st Discoveries.

+1

They really shouldn't be worth much considering how much they are actually worth compared to gas giant rings with respect to mining.

But still, its data that wasn't known before. 100cr would float the boat I think.

You have got my vote. I remember spending hours scanning everything on my first voyage of discovery and one of the first things I discovered when I returned was I had wasted several hours scanning everything :(
