Wish I could find the article I read about Molecular Manufacturing but if it goes they way they hope. It should be possible to make any minerals you need. combine that with Nano factories and the whole concept of carrying cargo through space would go out of the window.

Interesting stuff but has none of the romance of Space commerce.
