while some aspects of the asteroids in this game are brilliant, especially the planetary ring fields, there's a couple of glaring issues in their design.
1) system asteroid fields / extraction points
these are supposed to be asteroid belts, but there are only ever like 5 asteroids. maybe add in different densities of asteroids for different systems, higher densities give more points for exploring
2) general asteroid problem
the asteroids in planetary rings are very dense. some of them are spinning quite fast, but i'm yet to see any asteroids actually move. it'd be a lot better if asteroids could collide and hit each other. the probability of successfully navigating an asteroid field are 3708:1, so why does it seem so damn easy?
3) resource amount scaling
large asteroids don't really seem to give many more resources than small asteroids before being spent, don't know if this is actually the case or if i'm imagining it
