Astronomy / Space Astronomy got me into Elite....you?

Seems most people came to Elite to play a video game and then became interested in the stars...I was the opposite.
How many astronomers we got here that use Elite to travel to the places we see through our scopes?

Yes you can count me as an avid astronomy fan. My old 10 inch reflector is collecting dust but yes I loved me some star parties & messier marathons.

Actually me and my kids use my telescope all the time. Jupiter and its moons, Saturn's rings.

Im slowly going to school for a degree in Astro Physics and Aerospace Engineering. Was already in school for a bit for Aerospace Engineering. Just adding the Astro Physics part. Kids keep me from going full time.

Im guilty of that too, my 4"refractor hasnt been used in a couple months, need to take it out since the weather here in CT is nice for it.
