Every time at game start (or when taking a ship out of hangar), when launching your ship, the thrusters are automatically set at 100%, leading to frequent crashes on the launch pad, hurting beginners the most. This should be adressed in future patches, launch thrust should be at 0% ALWAYS. If you land your ship and then launch it, you start at 0% thrust, like you should. The discrepancy is illogical and indefensible. If you play as a stealth pilot and have no shields, you could hurt your ship considerably in hazardous launchpad environments (sealed ports as opposed to exterior ones).

I've scraped off a fair bit of paintwork launching, because I've left the throttle on. The computer wars if you try to land without gear deployed, so why not a warning that the throttle is on max - or reverse.
