At long last...

From my humble beginnings with the Sidewinder, up to acquiring the Cobra. My home ship for 2½ years before finally breaking out and working towards a Python and later an Anaconda. I thought my journey would end there, but the call to serve the Federation was to great to ignore. And finally, after 3 long years, I'm happy to be commanding the Federal Corvette.

The younger brother of the Farragut battle cruiser, everything about this ship screams excitement. From the low tones of the engines to the sleek, yet bold militaristic hull plating and grooves. The cockpit window is top notch with minimal obstructions and sleek control panel. Supercruise travel in a large ship is joyful once again as the Corvette delivers with its improved maneuverability. Jump range may not equal the Anaconda, but to fly such a ship as this requires that you grace the celestial heavens with its sovereignty. I look forward to the many adventures with this ship, both now and in the beyond.

See you out in the void, fellow commanders!

Well done Commander, to coin a phrase: "u haz rebai?"

Have you got a build on coriolis to post? I'm guessing you've transferred a lot of the internals and weps across from the Anaconda.

Although always sad to see a great ship like the Conda stripped, you've now got yourself a great hull to outfit a proper exploration vessel.

I'll admit, I was very pleasantly surprised when I got a Corvette.
I thought I'd try it and sell it.
Now it's my base ship for anything tricky and with a 20ly range, I actually didn't mind jumping to Palin for drive upgrades. Good ship and good for you.

Ship kit came to mind.

Never had the urge until now.

I think you deserve to splurge on the appropriate ship kit next.

Congratulations commander! You might want to drop over to the rear admirals lounge too if you havent already. Can find some good tips and discussions for the Corvette too. Whiskey on the house ofcourse.

Well met cmdrs!

For the most part I transferred everything from my Conda (link). I'm not one for best of class, so I pick the most optimal setup to keep the insurance low. Even though I have a 10 digit bank account, I'm frugal :). The only thing I felt needed to change was a 7D to 7C thrusters because the Corvette is a bit heavier. As for weapons, I decided to switch from turrets to gimballed for better control (turret friendly fire always makes me nervous). I can always switch it up though, especially if I'm going to multicrew.

Now it's time to go ruffle some wanted feathers :)
