I do not know if this is still valid - but there used to be "Distribution Centre" Signal Sources, found in Systems with Faction State : Famine.
Those offered a continuous flow of many High FSD Wakes you can scan and collect alot of scan Data (incl. Atypical Disrupted Wake Echoes) very quickly.
