I recently saw the promo vid for Odyssey and it looked like there were landings on a different types of worlds which were varied. For example one looked to be icy. Also the sky didn't just look like outer space like when you land on a moon. Any thoughts?

Yes, Odyssey is opening up atmospheric worlds for landing, an atmosphere scatters light, an effect called Raleigh Scattering, this will result in different colours depending on the type and density of the atmosphere. Any type of body can have tenuous atmosphere, it all seems clear and straightforward, those are my thoughts.
The sky will be a different color during normal Horizons-style landings. That is all. Literally.
