The changes to how KWS works turns out be interesting. I was in a haz res and things went quiet for a while. So I started scanning the ships that were mining.
Sure thing, they all came up clean on normal scan, but after KWS scanning a few came up as wanted. Not large bounties, but I was after Heat Vanes, so.............
Well you can guess the rest.

That's actually really helpful.

I try to RP but then have to resort to scumbag tactics to get mats that traders drop. Now I can do it guilt free.

I know exactly what you mean. I hated going to anarchy nav beacons and swatting trade ships and haulers, just for some materials.
Today I have collected loads of heat vanes, chemical manipulators, conductive ceramics and the likes.

You cannot deny there isn't much in the lines of Resources to Extract at such a Site, so the loss is.. not really a loss, except for miners wanting to lose time.

Besides, the rocks make them fun - especially if you're using Force Shell cannons. You need something to smash them into.
