Engineers Attention explorers!, you can advance your crafting rank with Felicity by selling exploration data

As the title says, i've been saving up some exploration data in case this worked and it does! (they did say they enabled other ways to gain rank other than crafting), so i had around 200 systems i could sell, somewhere in the neighborhood of 1-1.5mill in data so now i have grade 4 access!

The others might have something akin to felicity, maybe if you sell stolen goods to the dweller and bounties to Tod then maybe it'll work the same way?

As for felicity i imagine that to get grade 5 access i have to sell a couple of hundred more systems, maybe 300 or 400 :D

I was at Felicity's base when a Commander in-game said this. I looked and there was no Universal Cartographics.
So please provide pics of exactly HOW to sell your exploration data, otherwise I am calling "not true" on this one.

EDIT: Also the engineers bases don't have a commodity market so you can't sell items there either. I am going to Tod's next so will check if you can sell stolen goods, but I doubt it.

I had the same issue, no universal cart. I went to another place in the system and sold what I had. Came back to Felicity's and, of course, now she has it. I am rank 2 with her.

Again, Pics or it didn't happen.
EDIT: Don't even reply with something along the lines of "It did happen, honest guv" ... Pics to prove you sold exploration data there, or it didn't happen.

EDIT 2: Sorry if I sound blunt or rude, but the system the engineers are in, their base is the only base in the system, so selling somewhere else almost certainly won't affect your rep with the engineer. There is no way to sell exploration data to the engineer, but I'm willing to accept pics as proof and will admit I was wrong.

Also, I note that no-one says anything specific like "go to this exact base, click on this exact button ..."

Mother of...i'm on my way back there after getting energy grid assemblies for a grade 4 FSD upgrade, i'll send the pic then :rolleyes:

interesting, maybe i should go for an exploration trip, judging by what people say in this thread we need around 5 millions credit of exploration data for rank 5.

I just came back from an exploration trip around Barnard's loop, grabbed a unite of metal alloy and donated it.
I must have missed something here because I don't see it.

Not sure what triggered it either but all I did was logging off and back in again and there it is ! :D

Hmmm...it could be that you don't see it until you make the donation and then it appears once you change session?, worth checking out.

Can confirm this. Arrived and had no UC, gave my donation to the engineer and logged out to main menu and back in again and then UC was there.

Same, I was there and NO cartographics, so I sold everything at the next station :(

When the engineers only wanted fish in the beta a market was placed in the menu that seemed to disappear then reappear. People said this to FD but it wasn't seen as a big thing really just a server thing that would go on main release. I didn't know felicity had a cartographic tab until now despite being there several times yesterday. I sold lots of data to other stations also ... oh well :)
