AUDIO notify upon INFO: Discovered New Signal Source (optimally configurable?)

As we sit doing a slow supercruise awaiting a high grade emissions source (et cetera) I cannot take my eyes off the screen for fear of missing the INFO notifying me a new USS has appeared, or a new contact, etc.
I would (optimally) enjoy having an audio alert when one appears, preferably settable to whichever object I am looking for.

Similar to the audio alert we hear once mass-lock has disappeared and we are able to jump/supercruise.

Conversely, (for those looking for new contacts to interdict, etc.) being able to set the alert for SHIPS instead of USS' would allow those hunting ships to get an audio alert

(ADDITIONAL) NOTE: Currently (pre-3.0.3) I'm having trouble reading the INFO that is being totally obscured by the HUGE blue letters notifying me the limpets cannot see any new targets to go after. I would really enjoy not having the limited offered time to read our self-deleting messages in the INFO section of our HUD.

I believe this change (or a workable form there-of) would make the entire USS or ship hunting a lot more enjoyable.

Thank you for your consideration

Because you said "optional".
I would keep it off most of the time, but I think it would come in handy when I need to farm RNG.

Rep! A good idea. May I suggest the Morse letters USS for USS's and TS for ships. ( ..- ... ... and - ...) as the alarm signals.
Just a thought.

+1 yes please. Either a verbal warning, or just a distinctive noise, or off. Ideally a choice of all 3. :)

Also, increase the volume of incoming messages. I miss them constantly. Lol

I was thinking a small quieter tone very similar (although I'd recommend a different hertz/octave) to the Mass Lock disengaged beep.
Something you might not even notice unless you are listening for it.
I usually do not have to suggest anything as these Devs usually implement it before it bothers me enough to 'go public' with a request.
Hats off to the Devs and (again) for addressing QOL improvements in Beyond!
And thanks for the replies! I rarely come to the forums any more. I prefer to spend my time playing. ;-)
