So this is a question that has been bugging me for a while. The sound design in Elite Dangerous is absolutely amazing. I love the engine sounds in the game. I think I actually let out a little squeal of joy when I heard the audio profile of the Fer-De-Lance. So, how come than that with all the amazing engine sounds they all sound exactly the same in supercruise ? Getting a new ship is such a fun experience, especially when you are greeted with the awesome howl of something like an Imperial Clipper. But all this is lost the moment you jump into supercruise
