General / Off-Topic Audiobooks to fly to...

I'm not usually one for recommendations (too much pressure) but I know there are others commanders out there who like me have somehow missed obvious books that seem made for those long trade routes...

As enjoyable as I found the actual Elite dangerous series, only a few unfortunately have been made into audiobooks.

By chance I came across The trader's tales from the age of the Golden Clippers series by Nathan Lowell. I bought the first to listen to yesterday as I was doing passenger missions and before I knew it was over! Seven hours had passed by and the weirdest part was that nothing conventionally "exciting" happened... no sex, no explosions, no ships being attacked... it was just about trading and opportunism!

As an Elite trader this is something I could relate to and it got me hooked. Would they turn a profit at the next station? Would something go wrong?

Sounds stupid and dull, but it really wasn't. It was honestly the most interesting "uninteresting" sci Fi I ever read! Lol

Anyway just wanted to pass on how much Im enjoying the series... so much so I reset my commander and have started over, paying more attention to each small transaction I make in this massive galaxy!
