Audioguides and Adoption Packs

Information Centers and Souvenir Shops

Mode: Franchise
Difficulty: Hard

I just tried something and wanted to go deeper in the min-maxing things and education stuff, to now grow my rating from the beginning.

Audioguides:
My visitors got the option to buy an audioguide for their visit in my Zoo. The problem here is, that I got about 770 visitors in my Zoo at the moment but only 81 guides were sold last year. And then they only use it in about 80% of their visit time. The other thing is, that I got 5 different types of animals, but they just learn about 3 of them by audio guide. And also the coverage with only 4% education by audioguide seems very low.
Is there a chance or does someone have some tips how to increase the coverage and useage of audio guides? Does it help to put more information centers all around my zoo?
In another park from me, visitors tend to not buy any audioguide and there I got around 3000 visitors.

Adoption Packs:
Another problem I got when it comes to adoption packs. Is there anything to make the rate of adoptions bit higher? I mean about 50% of my income by stores is from adoptions. But there are many visitors that haven't adopt an animal yet. Does the appeal of an animal affect the chance to be adopted?

I mean yeah. I really got no issues in term of income by now. And I think I won't get it in this park in the future. I just haven't find really nice answers to this problem and want to understand the mechanics behind these systems.

Maybe it helps to sell the Audio Guides cheaper (or maybe even give them to the Guests for free)

Does the Adoption even change something or is it just for Money when the Adoption Package gets sold?

I am selling the audio guides for just 1€ so I just got 0.25€ for profit. I mean it is okay for me if it is intended by the developers, that audio guides do not have that impact to education and are just a small buff just like advanced research. But it feels like I am doing something massively wrong. Especially, that the guests just learn from some animals and not all and do not use them all time. I am asking myself, if it could help to have info centers right next to the habitats all around the zoo so that the audio guides have something like a ratio they share with the info center?

Same thing with the adoption packs. They just help you to earn money. That is all. But I am asking myself here too, if it helps to sell them right next to the habitats.

For now I concentrated my stores for audio guides and adoption packs near the entrance or sometimes on crowded plazas but not really close to the habitats.
The thing is, people also bought the packs in my souvenir shops right to the entrance/exit and also for animals that are at the end of the zoo.

So maybe audio guides are just a small buff to education and adoption packs are a small benefit but not a big income?
I mean I am doing good. No problems with money at all. It is just a min-maxing thing. Compared to switching sauces on the burgers.
So something that maybe help me to expand a bit faster next zoo.

I'd like to follow this and learn more about adoption packs because I don't think I've ever sold any. I'm not sure why no one's biting.

The game mechanics of Planet Zoo are mysterious and inscrutable.
They are the stuff of speculations, myths and legends.

Why does advanced research not increase the education rating as it is stated? What are the conditions that affect the rating of the guests time at the habitat? How do genetics work?

No one knows the answer, because our feeble mortal minds just couldn't comprehend them.

Only the Frontier gods themselves know those answers...
... but they won't talk.

(No, seriously, if anyone finds something out, let me know :D )
