Just want to say hi to fellow Aussie CMDRs out there.

We play a few different games but mostly BF series and of course Elite: Dangerous

we had 8 BattleLeague members/players on last night (2.50) and it was a blast. we coop'ed on some large ships to take them out.....reminiscent of the trailer of the larger group battles.

only gripe i have is that we cannot have an original group name - rather just one of the players name is the group name (unless i missed something)

jsut for your info... we don't require membership to join us in some fun...the link to the forum is just so you can get the teamspeak details. (our current free forums are a pain to join so we just say check the TS details and come and say hi and have some fun in ED)

i don't have a head set, but still would like to join fellow aussie's in space. I learned how to use the in game chat keyboard function, so i can talk this way.

Can't seem to find your game group. What is it called?

due to not having a naming convention in the groups yet (in game that i am aware of) so we use one of the group members names: XMadMarkX to join each other

our TS system has a chat feature that you can come and say hi and find out when and where we are flying (mostly ever nigh there are members on though to be honest)

Just thought I'd say hello to my fellow Aussie Commanders,
Commander MattVictorJameson, Harmless (Mostly Useless) at your service; operating mostly out of Perth WA.
I'm a veteran of the original 1984 BBC-micro Elite wars (tough times, floppy-disks), & the more recent Oolite skirmishes through the 2000s-to-date.
Not one for fighting, more for exploring.
My Eagle (X52-controlled) & I hope to see you out among the stars.

CMDR DarthVain here from Adelaide SA, Currently in my Cobra Mk III and slowly building up the credits towards getting my Lakon Type 6 Transporter. A fair way to go yet as it was a lot easier in the Beta stages. I'm doing a lot of bulletin missions and a lot of exploring to sell f the system info. Currently I'm 110 LY from SOL and don't expect to get there any time soon. My Cobra has a 12.48 LY jump drive capacity unladen and 11.2 fully laden.

welcome to the community Darth. we can help you this some awesome routes to help you get that type 6 quicker. not sure if you have team speak but even without a mic we can help you in the chat of team speak

oh and we have 2 full time CMDRs from your neck of the woods too.

most of the CMDRs in our group are explorers and traders (i myself want to visit a black hole soon) and some even had the original elite game too and convinced the rest of the community to check it out.

Hi there, Im playing out of NSW. been active randomly since launch. Probably be less active after the christmas holidays. Been mostly bounty hunting in my Viper. Getting it pimped out. I'll see about getting onto team speak and come say hi. Im keen to do something Co-op in the game. Havent seen alot of CMDRs in the game

happy to do some bounty hunting with you as thats what some of the CMDRs are doing at the moment. pimped an eagle out just for that very reason (cheap to replace).

also for the person trying to connect to teamspeak with the username "Elite"...if you are having troubles just right click on one of our names and press poke and type in the issue you are having....we will help out from there.

Hi I'm a Aussie commander in Brisbane. I don't play BF, I usually play Rfactor BOZ Sprintcars. I have join into Elite Dangerous and at the moment my CMDR name is stocker3629. My main role is trader I have a type 6 and my main base is Boobt station in the Cupis system. I'm in the process of increasing the boobt stations influence in the Cupis system and there is a civil war going on with the Federation Corporate As the main influence in the system is Federation Independent. which I think I started with delivering consumer technologies and rare beer. I'm only thinking that because when I was increasing my deliveries boobt station's influence increased and the war started. I'm usually on after 7pm EAST or 8pm EADT. If you want to join me on a haul as security your more then welcome as sometimes I fill my cargo up with rarities, sometimes grossing $500 000+. pirates have gotten me a few times. but I can not wait for the "wings" addon to be added.

the next step in my plan is to start flooding the federation station's with narcotics and slaves. So soon when I've got $1m in slaves I don't want to loose it.

what is the TS address. so I can join in as ASTRA doesn't talk much. but she does say. "we are doing what we do everyday. Try and take over the universe."
