Auto Assign Crew or prevent launch

Can we have an option to auto assign crew(SLF) ,or if not possible an option that stops a particular ship launching without crew ?

Interesting; and it sounds like something I'd agree with. Can you explain a little more what actual problem this is to solve? I've been away for awhile I admit as I was so fed up with the state of 2.3 circa launch week I just vacated the game for awhile.

I made a suggestion around the same problem the other day, but it got buried really quick for some reason. It's gotten busy in this section recently...!

It's basically just a pop up like the firegroups one if you close station menus without crew onboard in a crew compatible ship. I also covered Limpets. I launch without then all the time. Lol

We might not need prevent launch. But some way to know there a crew member on board or not before launch.

Hammer,if you swap ships,lets say to do something in fitting,then go back to ship with fighter,ED puts your NPC crew in longe hence inactive. Ok so we get a brief warning, but doing fittings,repairs,going away for a coffee then coming back to launch,I sometimes forget and launch without my crew being active.

A small portrait in the corner,empty, should do it. Or even a brief warning AFTER launch that doesn't require a response should grab our attention !
