I'd just learned the hard way to disable the keyboard shortcut for firing/deploying weapons.
While thrusting about to leave a dock, I started shooting and about 15 seconds later my ship was in pieces. Now my newbie fortune of 5000 credits has been halved.
Off to double check for other firing shortcuts...
