Auto Dock music suggestions (or features)

Heya all,

I have been using the automated docking computer for a while now and it generally does it's job quite good, when it's not on the fritz and just starts wobbling in front of the station like a drunk manatee on a unicycle...

Aaaaaaanyway, that's not really my issue, it has been brought up a lot that it needs tweaking, and I can imagine it is quite nasty to get that thing to work properly.

My question and a bit of food for discussion is: what's up with the classical music during the docking sequence? Is it changeable at all? Some folder in the install I missed where I can put some MP3 files if I wanted? Or.... is this something we have to live with?

It's not that bad I know, the first 10 times it was quite funny, but after hearing the same tune over and over again every damn time you dock.... that gets really old really fast.

On a side-note. Wouldn't it be awesome to have some sort of galactic radio in your ship? Yes I know it wouldn't be possible because radio would have to be unique to every system you go to (radiowaves cannot travel faster then light so it would take a couple of years for the signal to come through to any other system). But it would be rather fun to have different channel in different systems.

The Blue Danube never gets old! :D

Or is it some other music? I haven't had the time to try standard Beta at all, and if I'd had, I doubt that I would have bought a Docking Computer, so there's a hole in my knowledge. :)

This is how I spent my early teens:
LOAD"ELITE",8,1
RUN

arriving at the vicinity of Coriolis/Dodo station (S)
C
continue reading a book while Blue Danube plays in the background, while taking a quick peek at the screen every once and while so you can save the occasional botched DC attempt

hope theres an 8-bit upgrade to the docking computer , the one in that vid did an awsome job over the one in beta. also i think the 8 bit rendition of the music was better also .

Time Off - The 15 Minute Meditator

So you can try to relax as the program trys to get you through the slot sideways.

'Track One is a bell-tone synthesizer soundtrack which delivers a deep Theta - level meditation. For an extended, thirty minute meditation, turn over to side two where The Synchronicity Technology of Balance continues with the sounds of the gently rolling surf.'
