Newcomer / Intro Auto-Docking Issues

Hello fellow Commanders,

I encountered a small issue with my auto-docking system yesterday and I can't seem to figure it out. For some reason my Auto-docking will takeoff automatically , but it won't land automatically. I made sure I'm 7.0Km from the station, I engage the request to land, and lower my speed to zero, but my auto-docking wont engage. I see the count down clock to land pop up as well. I made sure the "Advance Docking Computer" is active in my ship modulators. I also sold and re-bought the Auto-Docking system several times to no avail.

The only different thing I did yesterday was join a superpower, and went on gathering Guardian materials.

I understand some people don't believe in the auto-docking system, it sure makes the game easy when it comes to landing, and it's nice to have that feature.

any help would greatly be appreciated.

Are you in a queue by any chance? Does the station support auto-dock? Does it happen at all stations or only one/a few? Can you show us a little video of it happening, including your left-panel settings? Dont forget you can activate/deactivate both functions of the module seperately!

The Queue never comes up. On my left panel I only see the Advance docking computer and its active. How can I make sure both modules are active?

Sorry, I mean the right panel. It is (from memory, not in game) the tab where you see the ship's functions (not the module list!), so where you can turn the lights on/off. One of the sub-tabs allow you to activate/de-active the docking module's functions.

This panel shows the player's stats, ship modules, fire groups, ship cargo, and ship functions. The home panel displays a variety of information. The left half displays (from top to bottom) your name (prefixed by "CMDR"), your Combat, Trade, Explorer, and CQC Ranks, Balance, ship and module...
