the actual answer: High Tech Systems that don't also have an Industry economy that eats them again. So High Tech + Refinery, for example.

Here's an infographic (not created by me) which shows all the commodities, which economies produce them (on the left), and which ones buy/consume them. Follow Quineloes advice too. If you try and by them from an economy that both produces and consumes you'll pay more if you can buy them at all.

The Auto-Fabricators belong to trade category "Technology".

Auto fabricators. That's how they're listed on the commodity market. If you don't see them, the station you're at doesnt buy or sell them.
